I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and the personnel working there. It is in a funky location yet oddly safe and so convenient to the Reims Train Station. They have parking, a washer and drier, and very comfortable rooms. The manager that was on staff when we arrived was professional, welcoming, and an all around great person. He helped me work the laundry machines and was very kind; he was so amazing that when I was talking about him to the day manager (perhaps his boss), another guest spoke up and agreed with me that the young man was stellar.
From the reviews, they warn about not getting a room that is next to the train tracks. Those rooms are like right next to the train tracks, but that apparently is a Monday thru Friday thing as it was silent until almost 8am on Saturday morning. I was going to use the 6am train as an alarm. Fortunately I woke up on my own at 6:30am. Our room was clean and comfortable. Comes with a small kitchenette which is perfect for those people that maybe wanting a residence home/hall near the university or to cook your own food.
The hotel is located close to everything on foot, bus, or car, and we wish we had more time to enjoy the city.
