Took a taxi from Tirana bus depot and the driver dropped us off outside this big complex of apartments, If the host didn’t come out to greet us any take us to the appartment then we would have struggled to find this appartment.
The host was lovely and explained the entrance and showed us the appartment which was like a Ikea showroom, as there were so many pictures on hotel.com we were confused to which one we would be getting, and the one we got was inside complex facing, the disappointment I faced was I couldn’t sleep at night as there was no headboard and having a head injury I kept worrying I don’t hurt my head, I did request for extra pillow which I was ignored by the host.
The appartment was well equipped with everything and very clean, clean hallway, one of the days noise was an issue as work going on in the block.
I booked this thinking swimming pool was included but it isn’t, we were told we have to pay for it and also whilst booking city tax was included and showed in the booking stage as included and later we learned from our host and she contacted hotel.com and was told it needs to paid so to save argument after having a enjoyable time in Tirana I paid 13.5 Lek (£13.50) city tax, one thing I learned no is to double check before proceeding to payment,

Overall it’s a clean appartment, modern outlook and buses and taxis are available outside, and some nice food places nearby, and a lake for evening walks.
