Our stay wasn’t amazing had minor issues in the room. Shampoo/body wash were empty, toilet wasn’t flushing properly, drain in the tub was slow and would collect lots of water during a shower, the phone didn’t work. Restaurant staff were ok but our favorite were Lillian, Eunice, Ali and G from the beach. Bartender did take quite a bit to make the cocktails, food was ok more local dishes would’ve been great. I know it’s outdoors but the fly’s were just obnoxious and annoying. Beach was amazing, views and quiet. Went to relax and we sure did enjoy our surroundings.

Great place to stay on the beach in Watamu, proximity to Malindi international airport was super given construction between Mombasa and Watamu! The private adults pool is amazing for those without kids that want a quiet pool. If you are across from the dining/entertainment area though it is loud with music at night until about 12:30 am - next time will request room on the opposite side. I had a wedding blessing that was absolutely incredible - Nancy the planner was the best!!!

This resort is unique in the combination of guests it hosts:: I love that even during Kenya's high international tourism season there are always lots of Kenyan families at Turtle Bay. This is our second time visiting Turtle Bay. We like the staff and their dedication to the environment and community. However the rooms are in need of updating mattresses, bathroom and decorations. Also the music is played late into the night til 12:00am.

The staff get 12 out 10. Choice of different items in buffet are amazing. This is a 4* and they had king prawns on dinner menu on 21st december with the lower rates before Christmas. We are writing this review from a 5* hotel in malindi owned by a large italian chain on christmas eve and there is no dreams of having prawns on menu. Hands down an amazing experience. Only downside is the general cleanliness. The loos near the pool stink really bad

It was perfectly comfortable and the rooms had air conditioning. There was a limited gluten free menu and the included wine was dreadful. The pool was lovely and the staff excellent. It is a but tired. The booking of sunbeds was very tedious as some people rarely even came to the bed while others had no space. The music at night was the same ever day, was not really catered for the needs of the huests that were there and very loud in the bedrooms

The hotel were not very interested to look into why this had happened.
