Fresa is an excellent hotel, particularly for the value. It's just 2-3 blocks from the east entrance of Kashiwa station. Head down the escalator and it is to the left in the street just past Yoshinora noodle shop. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast service is good. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Sotetsu Fresa Inn has been my go-to choice for hotels in the Kashiwa area since 2012 or so. It's very convenient to be. It's close to the grocery store, train station and shopping. I enjoy staying there.

Whenever I come to Kashiwa, The Sotetsu Fresa Inn is where I always choose to stay. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the train line, it is close to lots of shopping and food choices. But most importantly, they truly try to cater to your needs with the amenities they provide. So, I enjoy my time there and will be visiting them again very soon.

This hotel is located on a side street just off a main street and five minutes walk from the station. Comparing other hotels in the area in terms of the price and service, this hotel is great! The hotel is excellent and is located in a busy area with lots of entertainment around. The only drawback is the hotel do not have a parking which is fine for most people and it does not have a good spot to unload luggages.

Showed up to check in and was told the only room available was a smoking room but we are not a smokers. We had nowhere else to go so we tried to make it work but the smell was TERRIBLE. The window is sealed shut, no way to open it. We woke up at 5am with headaches and nausea, absolute worst night of the trip. Also the bed was hard, the box spring was filthy, the toilet was not clean, no toiletries provided other than soap. I would not recommend staying here unless you are guaranteed a room that is non smoking, I can’t comment on anything positive.

GREAT place!

The staff was very friendly and promptly helped me when I left my key in the room. I felt good about the security in that they accompanied me up to the room! The free amenities were terrific. In addition to the common ones like a toothbrush and a razor, they had lavender bath salts and tea packets which made my stay even more pleasant. Also, they could lend you a memory foam pillow (which was heaven) and also a curling iron.
