Beautiful, historic, but with a few misses.

Our trip was probably not well matched to this hotel (which isn't their fault at all!). We checked in close to 9pm at the hotel restaurant as the front desk was closed. We missed out on some of the fine attractions of the hotel like the expansive sitting rooms in the main lodging building. Room was exactly as pictured. Plenty of space, nice lake view (the next morning when we got up), excellent breakfast buffet. The luxury beds were too soft for my liking. I get that they're meant to offer gentle conforming support, but I felt like more than one night might have not gone well for my back. Floors are very old wood, so they're noisy. More nice carpets like what was under the desk, over where we put our feet down at night would be a big improvement. We woke each other up trying to tiptoe to the bathroom in the night. Creak-creak!
Our room was on the top floor of this historic building. Note that check in happens about 50 meters down the way.

Mysigt hotell i gamla byggnader

Jättemysigt hotell. Ingen hiss i nunneklostret. Lite varmt med MC kläder och packning. Men efter en dusch och lite bubbel från en välfylld minibar så vart det bra. Det var väldigt varmt när vi kom, cs 28 grader. Deras Spa är väl värt ett besök.
