The Insel is a clean basic and friendly hotel close to town. The staff are lovely and very helpful especially Patricia at reception. The breakfast is basic but fresh. The laundry ladies are also very helpful. Negative - paying for wifi. Will stay here again.

Excellent customer service by all. I stayed 5 nights here with my 80 & 84 year parents. The staff were very accommodating to their needs and treated them with the utmost respect. They were loving, caring and professional always greeting you with a smile. Front house staff right through to the back house, kitchen, cleaners were a joy to deal with. We highly recommend Insel to those visiting Samoa it will be your home away from home with Island feels.

We had our friends stay here as we no longer needed the reservation but they said they’d stay was good. Can’t comment on anything else’s, they only slept there and didn’t use the amenities. Big rooms, table n chairs, comfy beds, powerful hot shower. Pool was good. 2 mins walk to an awesome pizza restaurant. ( recommend ) Kitchen had stove but needed dishwash liquid, t towels, pots. Simple little gem

The superior room was a great place to stay. They rooms are very clean. Little things need maintenance like the outdoor balcony light flickered consistently like a disco, which i spoke to reception about but nothing was done during my seven day stay. Also towels were not replaced daily, which required me to ask for them to be replaced. The reception staff are friendly. As a 3 star place to stay it is nice choice for a reasonable price.
