Lots of dining options on Sonnenstrasse half a block away, and not too far to walk to Marienplatz and to the spot where you can take the Big Bus tour of Munich. The hotel was a nice European hotel. The area was ok, never felt unsafe during the day, but didn’t go out at night. There was a gentleman’s club on the street and the clientele I wouldn’t trust it at night. It was very noisy at night since there is no AC and the windows were open. Staff were great.

This hotel was easy walking distance to the train station (as well as S & U stations) and also easy walking to attractions like the Marienplatz. We found a playground close by that our 6 year old loved. The room itself was quite small and did not have the most clean feel. We appreciated that they left a fan in the room during the hot weather, but the fan looked like it had never been cleaned. Overall, a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay for a couple of nights in Munich.
