Great hotel for my short trip. Only downside was being unable to get into my room on the second day. A quick call got the card reactivated so only a minor problem. Room was comfy and a good size, clean and tidy. Breakfast options were very good, from meats, cheese ect to cereals and yoghurts. I'll definitely return to Gothenburg and I'd definitely stay here again.

Funny house

Here you get a two for one deal! Both a room and amusement park funny house. Floor extremely sloping and no bother to adapt the legs of the bed. Feet 5 cm higher than the head and sideways slope far worse so that you have to struggle against rolling over. TV some very old stuff with a separate receiver - of cause not working.

Nice hotell. Little shabby but charming. It is a big boat, but sturdy and safe. Comfortable. Carpets in the corridors need to be cleaned or better changed. I wish carpets were removed from the rooms, I am allergic to wall to wall carpets ‘cos they collect dust and produce a tiny fractures of synthetic cells in the air, and I don’t want to breathe that. Breakfast is simple and boring, I stayed there from Wednesday to Monday and it was same boring breakfast every single day, no sausages, no bacon. Cold eggs from yesterday, jams, 3 types of bread, a toaster, old stiff cucumbers and tasteless tomatoes, one cheap cheese. But hotel was very quiet and relaxing.

Budget but fine for me

Here’s what you need to know: -the price reflects that this is not a fancy place -the ship lists hard to the side, which can be jarring -there is a decent basic breakfast -the shared bathrooms don’t look great; pay a little more to get your own bathroom I’ve stayed here several times because it’s a budget place I can stay while I’m in Gothenburg alone or with a friend. I expect that if the price is significantly lower, there’s a reason, and I accept that. Check in is weird the first time because you’ll do it via their land line, but it’s actually pretty easy. The breakfast person was super nice and attentive, too.

Bo på en båt var mäktigt

Som titeln säger så var det en upplevelse att bo på båten men tyvärr så tyckte jag att avsaknaden av personal på plats var riktigt kass. Var tvungen att trycka på en porttelefon för att komma in i båten och när vinden blåser och vågorna skvalpar hör du inte ett ljud av vad herrn på porttelefon säger. Kändes som ren tur när man kom in och när man väl var inne så fick man gå runt och leta då receptionen var obemannad. Hitta en telefon som man fick ringa en virtuell reception sen var resten av upplevelsen ok förutom att det var lite som en labyrint att hitta sitt rum. Rummet var trevligt men hade oljefläckar på nattduksbordet. Hotellfrukosten var helt ok. Gött att sova till skvalpande vågor!

The ship is sinking!

Vi kom i et tidsrum hvor receptionen var åben, tilfældigt at den var åben fandt vi ud af, da hotellet er et dail-up hotel. Vi blev mødt meget venligt og vi fik tjekket ind før tid da receptionen ikke var åben senere. Alt fint. Vi ankommer senere og har vores første nat. Toiletbrættet var i stykker og bruseren kunne ikke holde sig gas på stangen så badet foregik i en meter og ti, Jeg er 1,86m. Det fortæller vi til personalet ved morgenmaden, som var den samme søde person fra receptionen dagen før. Hun var overrasket og tager med ind på værelset for at se disse fejl. ✔️ Da der kun var afsat 2 håndklæder på værelset beder vi om at få 1-2 mere evt små til hænderne da min kæreste havde menstruation i perioden med forventning om at kunne få skiftet håndklæder mere end 1 gang i perioden. Men vi fandt ud af noget helt andet. Det er virkeligt sørgeligt at der ikke bliver taget hånd om de basale ting som håndklæder og toiletpapir. Vi fandt ud af noget helt andet. Der kom et håndklæde til hænderne. Men siden da blev intet gjort i de 4 dage vi opholdte os. Hver morgen spurgte vi til at få skiftet håndklæder og forventede på ingen måde at hverken bruser eller toiletbrættet blev lavet. Gæster spurgte andre gæste til hvor man kunne komme i kontakt med personalet eller om man vidste hvor man kunne finde toiletpapir. Vi tog papir fra fælles toiletterne efter at have været hele skibet igennem og åbne alle døre muligt for at finde håndklæder jeg Kan ikke anbefale mere en 1 overnatning.

Barken Viking- ett utmärkt centralt boende

Ett utmärkt boende i centrala Göteborg. Frukosten hade allt man kunde önska. Båten är historisk; ett fartyg som utbildade sjömän för många år sedan. Befälshytten var mycket bekväm med tre små fönster, rymligt badrum med dusch. Jag rekommenderar att prova detta hotell!
