We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel La Tortuga. The service was excellent. We were greeted with a delicious fruit juice. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 p.m., and they let us check in anyway. We loved the breakfast; you can choose between eggs or pancakes. It includes a fruit cocktail, natural juice, coffee, and bread. There are a wide variety of restaurants and spectacular beaches around Las Terrenas. I recommend Punta Popi Beach... We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful, we had a lot of rain and they went above & beyond to make us happy. The quaint hotel is located walking distance to many restaurants. The only weird thing is that it is in a neighborhood where every property is walled in so kind of sterile looking getting there…… but inside the property is an oasis!

The gardens and pool are lovely and well maintianed. The staff are kind and learning hospitality. The owner is working on upgrades and a new lounge is coming which is needed. Location is great. Quiet -which was nice. The room- was OK, would like a screen on the patio door so you could keep it open and not need the A/C. The sitting area outside of the room area is and not comfortable. The bed was OK. Shower great. A/C - we did not use. Enjoyed our stay there, but we found it expensive.

I really like this boutique hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly. I felt like I was in a tropical oasis with the beautiful well maintained garden. The beds are comfortable and room was very clean. I really loved sliding my door and walking straight to the pool. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The security guard always opened the door for us after arriving from our late dinners.. I highly recommend this boutique hotel if you want to peace and quiet and total relaxation.
