Very friendly and most helpful staff. Good location and in the centre for the old town, local shopping and beach in Alghero. The town of 40,000 is still relatively unspoilt by tourists as was the case during our stay in May.

The woman in charge of the breakfast area was very engaging and recommended some wonderful places to visit during our stay. The hotel is in a quiet location, but only minutes walk to the old town and the sea. The pool was a great feature where you can relax, order a drink, read a book, with a quiet surrounding. The floor of the room wasn’t that clean and my room was right on the street so you could hear traffic noise, and the cleaners started early so don't expect a quiet sleep in. But the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. You can choose to sit out in the garden and the choices for breakfast, while not extensive, were ample and tasty. Overall, a quiet and pleasant stay in Alghero.

Hotel Domomea was an alright stay. The breakfast buffet was good, nice food. There is a very small pool if you need to cool down. I also thought there was going to be a hot tub, but it is just a cold tub with jets. The room itself was alright. The bathroom shower didn't have a closed door, just a curtain, so the bathroom floor would get flooded after having a shower. The hotel is just in the city part of Alghero with not much views or interesting things to see. However, there is a really nice pizza restaurant where locals go nearby. Parking costs extra money if you are renting a car.
