The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life.
Despite its privileged location, right on Copacabana beach, this hotel was an absolute nightmare.
Filthy beyond words. The room floor was stained, especially near the bed, and the bathroom shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The photos speak for themselves.
The entire structure is old, ugly, and poorly maintained. The room had a bad smell, the furniture was worn out, and the overall atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable.
To make things worse, the front desk staff were completely unprepared, unprofessional, and lacked any sense of hospitality. The people staying at the hotel made me feel uneasy and unsafe. I had booked a full week, but I could only endure one night before checking out.
Do not recommend it under any circumstance. Not even for a night.
Just because it’s located on the Copacabana beachfront doesn’t mean it’s worth it. Don’t fall for the location trap.
That said, Brazil is a beautiful country, and after switching to another hotel, my stay turned into an amazing experience.
The new hotel was clean, welcoming, and well-managed, the way hospitality should be.
From there on, everything about my trip was absolutely wonderful. 🌞🇧🇷
