The room we had was great. Very good sound proofing. Spaciou room.Comfortable chairs. Ex bed. Office area was ex. 2 things though - cafe and dining area was closed and our room had only 2 cups, 1 wine glass. Electric jug. No spoons or crockery. Car park weedy and scruffy.

I think we were the only ones who were staying there, after we checked in at 4pm they closed reception, and we never saw anyone again all evening or night (it was kind of spooky!). The room was ok, a few cobwebs and shower a bit tired, but ok for the price.

I needed a heart stent put in and management would not let me try another date. Expedia tried to help and could not. I just needed a few days. I am here in NZ now and out of 14 air bnbs and motels and hotels this was the only place that refused to help me.

Would not recommend booking this property if you are planning on traversing hooker valley track as instead of 27km away from this property as stated on their website it is a 6 hr drive as you need to go around the mountain. Property does not take the phone and neither answers emails.
