A welcoming stay

The Solway Lodge was a welcoming place to stay. Lovely staff, nice food and a very welcome drink after travelling down from Fife. We stopped off on our way back home. The room was huge, recently renovated, comfortable. We were able to move our car right outside our room which was fab. Thank you. We will be returning.

I would highly recommend this hotel.Its value for money .We stayed in the annex.The rooms are spotlesy clean and have all the facilities you need. lovely breakfast in the morning with friendly service.

Have stayed here many times en-route to our home in the Highlands. It is conveniently located and provides all the facilities one would require for our needs such as restaurant for evening meal and breakfast along with a licensed bar!

Only stayed for one night. Very friendly staff. Nice meal in the evening and very nice breakfast. We were in a chalet behind hotel but quiet and comfortable with good shower. Nice visit and would recommend.

One night in Gretna

Only stayed one night but couldnt ask for more, staff friendly, their had been a mix up with them not knowing i was taking a dog but was sorted without fuss. Comfortable bed and with smart tv in room. Ate in the bar in the eveing and food was lovely with genorous portion, breakfast really nice..and there was even a sausage brought out for the dog. Thank you Would definitly stay again.

Arrived just after they had stopped serving food! Gentleman on reception said he would check and see if they could do us something and they did. Food was amazing huge plateful. Staff really nice and couldnโ€™t be more helpful
