Checked in, went to room and wow, this place a dump. Couldn’t locate my room as numbers were not clear. Finally found it to find two men already staying there. They apologized and left BUT gross! The maid changed the sheets, but the MJ smell and mildew smells were awful. The tub was filled halfway up and wouldn’t drain. I wanted my skin to burn off after standing in this room. I booked a one queen remodeled room. I was given a two double piece of crud garbage of a room where trash was left from the two guys who thought that was their room. They literally unpacked in the time they checked in and discovered it wasn’t their room. I went to front desk to attempt to get a refund. They said i had to call Expedia. I didn’t book through Expedia. I booked through hotels. Expedia had no idea who I was so I called hotels. They took my complaint and said they would call Arvilla. As I was put on hold I heard the ring of their phone and she picked up and hung up on them and told me the call dropped. I’m sure they get complaints all the time. Again this place is a dump. Beachfront dump. I told hotels she is front me and to call her back. She of course said she leaves in 5 minutes. She picked up but claimed the boss is out on maternity leave. Yeah right. In the end hotels can’t refund me and Arvilla is not answering phone from them. I’m sure they blocked their number. This whole experience makes me so angry.
