Cute, cozy, and near everything SD!

We were very happy with this hotel. Staff and everything was great! Didn’t love that there was no self parking and the only option was to Valet for $65 a night but not surprised in the city, actually. Overall, a wonderful hotel, would go back, for sure!

Good Location

Clean hotel easy self service check in near downtown no need for uber or taxi minutes away from Petco. They did not offer late checkout which was unfortunate giving a long drive we had ahead of us.

Great stay!

The service at the hotel was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Location was great, within walking distance of Petco Park, restaurants, the dock, everything. The only issue, which was addressed quickly, was the neighbors decided to BLAST their music at midnight. The walls were thin enough that it seemed like the music was in our room, we could hear everything. The front desk sent the security guard up and the music was turned down.

Had to move THREE TIMES. Hotel had floor to ceiling windows and the first two units they gave me that broken blinds that wouldn’t close. Room and bathroom had hair on thr ground. Bed sheet had an inch-size hole!

Great Location for Padres and Gaslamp

This place has only been open for 4 months and is not your typical hotel. These are like mini bachelor apartments with a full size fridge, cooking area, etc. Location is 3 blocks from Petco Park for Padres games, and five blocks from gaslamp and restaurants. short uber ride to the SD Zoo and Balboa Park. I took the train down, did a harbor cruise then walked about 30 minutes to the hotel (got my steps in!). Front desk is very friendly and helpful. The building is very secure, they give you a pass code to get into the building after 7 pm and into the elevator and into your room. Good coffee in the lobby. Room is very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Pleasant stay with very helpful staff

Had a pleasant and comfortable stay and the staff was very accommodating. One issue I do not care for is that the hotel is contactless.Was happy that I was provided a code to open my door as my business email took too long to get the email with the various codes needed for the elevator and to open the room door. Also the TV has Apple, Google, Netflix etc. channels; however, one needs to know their passwords to access them.

We do not recommend it

It’s renovated, and bed comfort was ok. Other than that, not good. As we entered the room for the first time there was some water by the washing machine, I was checking if someone left it running but it was off, as I opened the door water began flowing from the washer. I went to use the toilet, flushed it and saw waste water leaking around the toilet. Went to wash my hands, and sink filled up and was slow draining. Flipped my pillow and there was someone’s hair on it…They were overbooked and couldn’t move us. I asked for some bleach to clean around the toilet as we use it for sanitary reasons, the maintenance guy told us to go to the 1st floor and use common restrooms, we stayed on the 5th floor, he also suggested that wasn’t waste water…They didn’t offer any resolution. I highly recommend you stay elsewhere when in San Diego.
