The best hotel in Islamabad. Gigantic security outside. You feel really safe. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are the best i ever slept in. Great AC. Minibar is included. Alot of free water bottles in the room. They offer free Airport taxi if you tell them in advance. They have a chocolate Bar every day in the reception area that is totally free for taste different chocolates and pralins. Only bad is that there is no outdoor swimming pool and they could offer some more choices of bread for breakfast. Everything else was awesome

Had an amazing stay at the Movenpick Islamabad. The facilities were excelllent and a good sized gym, very clean and good food served in the restaurant. Most of all the staff were very friendly - I apologise for not remembering everyone’s name but Gul Ahmed was one member of staff who was excellent. Hotel was also in a really convenient location - next to a Mall and within walking distance of Faisal mosque. Definitely would visit Islamabad again and would hope to stay at the Movenpick again .

I had an amazing experience at Mövenpick. The staff was super professional and friendly at the same time. This gives you a feeling of a seven star hotel. The breakfast was awesome with so many choices. I would definitely staying here in the future.

Good communication and pick up from ISB airport was great. Room very comfortable and also managed to get massage in the spa, that was very good The Deluxe room I had allowed access to the executive floor that served breakfast, light lunch and dinner to which only really used the breakfast facilities. I tried the breakfast on the main 2 floor dining area ony last day and wished I had used every day as much better and more extensive. Should have been pointed out by staff. 1 last thing, they don't have cash / change so be sure to add card on checking in so you can charge to room. Otherwise a great stay in a new hotel that should pick up on the finer points. Would be staying again.

Not family friendly

Took longer than 30 minutes to check in. Was turned away from the executive lounge because kids aren’t allowed even though no one was there. Excessive security even for Pakistan. Shower drains are slow and wet the entire bathroom floor. Full of military folks and business travelers. Not a family friendly hotel.

Stayed at MovenPick Centaurus for 10 days in July.The hotel is beautiful, newly constructed and is located at a prime central location. Staff, while helpful is a bit uncoordinated due to an inefficient system where multiple departments in the hotel function independently and lack communication, thus e.g. the front desk won’t know what the travel services is upto. Charges while online with most top tier hotels but a bit too much in certain areas. My wife’s flight got delayed by a couple hours and were charged additional fee for airport pickup or about $30 for 6 cans of pop, after spending about $3000(cad) seemed unreasonable and left a bad taste. On our last day hotel went through a technical glitch where some floors were without electricity for at least 5 hrs, the staff while overwhelmed did perform admirably and gave us another room to sleep for the night so props on that. Place is very nice, one of the best I have stayed in amongst many countries. Staff was very helpful, dealt with minor issues like air conditioning in a timely manner. Mansoor from housekeeping is a gem. He took care of us for most of our trip, was a gentleman and displayed the highest ethos of hospitality and customer service. Give the man a raise and maybe a promotion. Overall the stay was positive and would recommend/stay there again
