Peaceful, central and affordable

We wanted affordable, central, and private accommodation where we could cook some meals ourselves. Very satisfied with the location – close to the train and subway, near a grocery store, and within walking distance to shopping. The room is small but has everything you need. Plenty of towels, well-equipped kitchen, toiletries provided, and a good shower. We had a room facing the inner courtyard, so it was quiet at night. Recommended for those who want a peaceful, central, and affordable place to stay, where you more or less have your own tiny apartment.

I have stayed here a few times before. The studios may be small but are very well equipped and have everything for a short stay. Very comfortable bed and lovely crisp linens mean a great sleep. The location is perfect particularly when arriving or departing from Kings Cross or Euston stations.

Great value, great room, not so great bed.

Cannot fault the room generally, it was clean with excellent amenities. Nice staff and easy entrance/exit. The only thing that wasn't great was the bed, the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows waffer thin. Our friend in another room did not have this issue, but myself and my partner struggled to sleep. Checking mattresses/pillows for quality more frequently in rooms would be my only negative feedback.

We love this place. It is so affordable for the location. It is a no frills efficiency so you should keep that in mind when booking. We stayed for over 3 weeks and we were totally comfortable. I cooked daily and the free laundry facilities really come in handy! We will be back next year.
