The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. Our room was small, tidy, and quiet. The bed was so hard we had difficulty sleeping and woke up sore. Also there was no place to hang any clothes--no hangers, no hooks. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They answered the doorbell promptly, recommended Shucos and Chellas for dinner, and arranged for our taxi to the airport.

Casa Aurora is really clean and spacious. There’s a cute little yard and a kitchen where breakfast is served and maybe one can bring food and eat. (We had to leave at 3am for a flight, so I cannot comment on breakfast.) we were very happy with Casa Aurora and it took us all of 5 minutes to get to the airport. Very nice place.

I like that the hotel is so close to the airport. The staff is very responsive if you text them through Expedia. They are able to respond in English. They can book you a shuttle any time of day or night. The hotel feels safe because of the security doors. There is a secluded grassy area as well. The room is clean the water is hot and there is excellent water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room rates are reasonable. It is on a busy street but it’s car noise not people making noise. I always travel with earplugs so it’s an easy fix. The bed is really comfortable for me and the furniture in the room is new. I stayed here twice and I’ll return next time I’m flying in or out of Guatemala City.

Nice for short stays

I stayed one night in the room pictured. The room has large windows with a garden view. It is positioned near the property's corner, so I did hear street/traffic noise at night. The bed is huge and comfortable, with sheets and pillows that smelled freshly laundered and that were also comfortable and soft. The bathroom has a good layout with hot shower. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast of plantains, eggs, beans and bread. If you arrive at night, be aware that there is no clear signage with the hotel name - look for a white corner building. The neighborhood is ok, there are no restaurants in walking distance. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. I booked this hotel because it included a shuttle to the airport, but the receptionist said no and advised I Uber to the airport.

It is in a quieter end of town , and1/2 mile to airport. breakfast was delicious the room was clean however there is a bed only no place to put your clothes not a chair and no windows. I only found one restaurant close by. It's about a mile to the city zoo which was excellent.b
