8/10 Very good

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was charming. The only negative thing I can say is our room was not cleaned one of the days or our stay.

If you are looking for a great hotel in Antigua this is the best option at a great price. Great breakfast buffet (paid), clean modern rooms and transportation available to the airport or lake atitlan at competitive prices 100% would recommend.

The property is truly beautiful and is well kept. Our room was fresh, clean and large. We ate at the rooftop restaurant which was very fair. The views while dining are incredible. I’d definitely return.

I had an outstanding experience with the guest service! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met, and their attention to detail was truly impressive. It's rare to encounter such a high level of care, and it made my visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch customer service!

I flew solo for a wedding and booked this hotel for 3 nights. I loved it. Staff was great, they helped me book transportation from the airport to the hotel from a third party. I was able to check in early. The hotel is within walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean. The noise level was good.

Wonderful staff clean room. No breakfast or perks. No washcloths. Hotel still in process. Constuction going on all day.

Loved this place! The courtyard is beautiful and the staff is very kind and attentive. Please note that if your ion is near the courtyard, sounds will echo in the morning. If you are a light sleeper this might be an issue. I wake up early so it didn’t bother me. They have storage for luggage before and after your stay. Would stay here again!
Samantha, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean and staff friendly but lacking some simple amenities like drinking glasses, luggage rack and desk. Just a nightstand. Had to put suitcases on floor or the other unused bed.

3 Star for good location, but super loud not great

The hotel itself is lovely esthetically. The location was grear. However the walls are not insulated because i had my windows closed, fan and AC off and woke up freezing where i had to use the extra beds blankets. The walls are so thin i can hear every guest check into their room from the front desk and every guest close their room door. I heard conversations and laughter that could keep any person awake all night. Which unfortunately i had terrible sleep because of both these issues. The cold and and noise i give a 3 star.

My kids and I arrived late in the evening to the hotel yet the staff was aware and waiting for us. The staff were soooooo nice and friendly, always helpful and so respectful the entire duration of our stay (6 nights). It's a beautiful hotel, 10-15 minutes walking distance to Antigua center (depending on your pace). Right on the corner there is an amazing sourdough bakery, so every day on the way out or back to the hotel, we would stop by and get croissant or breakfast and OMG their pizza was great. The hotel rooms were super clean. There is a safe in the room, which was great since I could leave our valuables in there. The shower/water is tricky to get the right temperature as it gets hot and cold, but it is not a big issue. The hotel lobby was very cute and I would sit out there in the afternoons, when taking a midday break at the hotel. I needed laundry to be done and for US$8, I was able to hand over a bag full of dirty clothes and it was in my room the next afternoon, all folded too. Very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely go back there next time I go to Antigua.
Anahita, 6-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom floor had a lot of paint stains all over the floor, and the shower head was very disgusting dirty, the bathroom cleaning needs more attention and all that paint in the floor and poor walls maintenance in the bathroom needs better work. There was a horrible smell from the cabinet under the bathroom sink. Unfortunately we had a room with the windows towards the street and was very noise at all hours. We were told by one of the ladies at the front desk that the streets was going to be closed from that afternoon forward because of the Holly week, and that it was going to be quiet for the rest of he the few days that we were staying. But that was a lie. Maybe one of the days that we stayed and only for few hours the traffic had no access but other than that it was noisy this made it difficult to sleep at night and the noise woke us up early in the morning. The roof area is very nice with fantastic view to the volcano. Better maintenance and cleaner bathrooms will be good.
Raquel, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Normally I don’t submit negative reviews, however this one is a mixed bag. First the good, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom large, there was ample storage and desktop space. But… the hot water sometimes barely ran out of the shower-head, other times it overwhelmed the cold water and scolded you! After walking from the bed into the bathroom, your feet were covered in black dust, strange the room floor was filthy, but I witnessed the custodial crew mop the lobby floors every morning. The lighting in the room itself was dismal, even at 12 in the afternoon there was barely enough light to see what you were doing with all the lights turned on and the curtains open. The noise was relentless, street noise 24/7. In addition, they were changing the windows in the rooms just outside our doors and there was sawing pounding, and Glass shattering every day, they kept the room doors open the entire time. In addition, one morning, we were woken up to a tour guide yelling at people on what the days agenda was going to be. If you want a quiet hotel, this is not the one. I guess the thing that bothered me the most, was their unfriendlines. At check in we were made to feel like we were doing the hotel a favor by staying there. In our three days that we stayed at the hotel not one person behind the desk greeted us. They kept heads down and kept reading their monitors and talking with each other. Very un-Guatemalan like! All this and the hotel is no bargain, one of the most expensive stays.
