This was a horrible experience! We arrived as a family of four with two tiered kids, only to discover that they claimed they had no record of our reservation (booked through hotels.com/expedia), claiming that we would have to pay again. After reaching out to Expedia customer services, they tried to call the hotel. Ironically, even though they had people at the counter, they only answer their phones on Mon-Fri, and we were there on a Saturday. (I’m not joking!) In the end I gave them my phone to talk to the Expedia customer services, and they managed to resolve the problem, after 90 minutes of being treated by the hotel staff in charge as if it was all my fault?!? Then after we got the room, we discovered the air condition didn’t work, and it was a sunny hot July day, and we could only open the window minimally. I tried to complain, but they said they couldn’t fix the AC on the weekend, and we couldn’t get a new room. I even came dow in the middle of the night, where the night watch at least helped with some fans (which they suddenly had). Making things worse, the hotel is next to a train station, with noise freight trains passing in the night, so sleeping with an open window is not a good idea, but we had no choice.
Please never stay at this hotel!! (This is by far the worst review I have ever given a hotel!)
