Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very clean, staff were amazing, welcoming and so helpful. Definitely recommend a stay. Facilities were great with tye gym, pool, sauna etc. Made good use of them. Very enjoyable stay. Nicely decorated room with comfy bed and small balcony. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful and seemed happy in their jobs. Pool was a much enjoyed bonus and am sure the spa is great but sadly it was fully booked for a massage at convenient times. Food of a good standard but in my opinion a little overpriced.

Reception was very friendly and the location is excellent but breakfast let this hotel down completely. I had the cooked breakfast on both days and on neither day was it hot although the quality was fine. my wife ordered porridge from the special menu on both days and it was pretty poor. On the first day it was hot, but runny, and on the second day the first attempt was cold and powdery; it was sent back. The second attempt looked disgusting and was hard , the spoon stood up in it. She didn’t eat it and complaints to reception staff on check out were ignored. No refund offered, just platitudes. A shame and we don’t think we will stay there again.

Overall very nice indeed and would definitely stay again. Food was delicious but service at breakfast and dinner a little disappointing and not very well organised. TV in our room should be bigger; no low level lighting in the bathroom meaning bright light shone onto the bed if the bathroom was used in the night. Also toilet seat not soft closing, looked cheap and could do with being replaced. Small complaints but relevant for a five star hotel.
