Very nice family run hotel. Wide range of food on the menu, all excellent and well priced (large portions). Wide variety of drinks available from the bar. Very welcoming and the locals that visited the bar were all good for a chat. Will be staying again.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my recent trip. It’s located in Workington, just a short drive from the Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the area. The location was convenient yet peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails and charming villages. The room was spotless, cozy, and offered lovely views. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.
