I'll skip Lava Hot Springs next time

The pictures online made this property look more appealing than it was. The bed qas very comfortable and there's a nice big tv, but the bathroom was tiny, with mineral scale covering everything and it just didnโ€™t look clean. There was a weird smell in the room, like fake cleanser, but it wasn't pleasant. I wouldn't stay here again, even for the reasonable price.

It was your average hotel room. The water in the bathroom sink barely trickles out. Didnโ€™t try the shower. It's in a nice location on the Portneuf River. Beach access is nice.
