Great room with a lovely view. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent, as was the service in all areas of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The features in the hotel which showed aspects of its past and the location by the river and weir were ideal. Lovely pool area with towels provided too. We had to wait a while to check in though as there was only one person on the desk and the couple in front had a problem which needed to be resolved.

Loved the space by the spa as it was easy to find a free sofa to read, relax and grab a glass of wine. The massage was excellent. Shuttle was very convenient. Marco our waiter at dinner was an A++++. He suggested many tips regarding the menu, wines, Florence. Our favorite person of the entire 2 week trip

Property and staff are fantastic! Very helpful with any needs or questions. As far as back and forth from the city: they have a shuttle option. The easiest thing to do ,is have them order you a cab. You can also have a restaurant call you a cab for the way back. I would stay here again. The sound of the river is so nice.
