This older hotel is a well maintained part of the Laguna family organization which includes travel buses and villas in other locations. Dining facilities on site and an indoor pool in a separate building and ample parking.

Pleasant hotel in convenient area

Great two night stay at the Laguna. The hotel was clean and adequate for our requirements. About a 20 minute walk into the city centre/beach. Plenty of car parking spaces. Our only gripe was that the shower was difficult to regulate and alternated from hot to cold and cold to hot constantly.

Good hotel

Good location, double bed mattress wasn’t comfortable and had issues with people hanging around the patio area at 7am Saturday morning and then in the evening there were people drinking in the patio area until 12:30am despite it meant to be closed at 11pm. Where it was warm the windows were open so could hear everything. Son enjoyed the swimming pool. Second time staying at the hotel, will come back again.

It Was my second time staying at Laguna. This time i have recommended it to my colleagues and we were in a group tour, family with kids. We booked family room each, the room condition is very poor, i beleive it’s high time they Should think about refurbishing. The ceiling, walls were stained. I chose the hotel again, as it has open garden space, so kids can have some fun while staying here.

The Hotel needs an update. I arrived late at night, so only the night porter was on duty. I had to stand at a distance to avoid his bad breath. He didn't seem particularly friendly or welcoming. No information given, except for where the room was. No info on WIFI or if there was breakfast available. New mattress required! Very uncomfortable night. Won't be returning.

Staying in a coach park.

Over 20 coaches parked. Hardly any room for car parking. In fact had great difficulty getting out of the car park due to all of the coaches blocking exit! Ridiculous. No wonder they say parking on a first come basis. Place was grubby and of course full of all the people from the coaches.

Ok for what it is

The hotel is ok for what it is, which is much cheaper than most hotel options. It is tired and worn looking. The bedding was clean, but very aged and no longer white, for example. There was a lot of banging noises, moving furniture, from the rooms above and around me. I would only stay here again by myself, I would not bring my partner and children here.

A Good Hotel and Good Location with Friendly Staff

I stayed one night at the Laguna Hotel, Bournemouth. The staff were very friendly and the hotel has a good location for taking advantage of walks in Bournemouth. There are pretty gardens to view on the wall into the town and beautiful beach. The hotel has an indoor pool that also looks good, but I did not use this pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was very good and most enjoyable.

Good family hotel

The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth
