Very close to the main plaza (10-15 mins walk) with shops and restaurants. Breakfast was included (scrumbled eggs with beans or pasta or rice). Room smallish with 2 beds and smallish bathroom. Clean room, no fridge or coffee/tea maker, TV with plenty of channels, safe. No noise, nice sleep. Liked our 3 night stay.

For the price point there's a lot to love and little to complain about. While it may be a bit dated it holds nice colonia style, the property and the rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You're very close to all the action but I will note the streets are very busy in this area for pedestrians and cars. You're very close to all the action and amenities in and around the main plaza. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We would book it again.

The hotel was not bad but the room felt dirty the towels were stained the sheets were stained.the pillows smelled bad and there was no tv service. It was out of the way and at night there was nothing to do. But what really disappointed was the notice that was at the door that said the charges if you stained their towels or sheets We came Here because they said their breakfast was really good and it was not! The hotel has potential but it definitely misses the mark. Had to book a different hotel.

Low cost, basic with breakfast included. Old place close to everything. More expensive places with trendier, upscale atmospheres are everywhere. Cleaning staff is much more efficient than high-end places I've stayed.This place will get you a longer stay at a very reasonable price if your not picky about everything. Ive been here before and I'll definitely return.

Nice place to stay. The paintings in the lobby gave it a lovely charm. Simple rooms for the budget conscious. Located near the cathedral which was nice. The beds were VERY hard which was the only downside. Breakfast is uninspired but edible (scrambled eggs and pasta or rice). The pool was nice and they let us bring our own beverages and food which was great. If they can fix the beds, it’d be a good stay!

The area is not the most attractive or safe feeling if you are traveling with kids. Parking was great. Rooms are not Spacious if you are traveling with kids. They will only provide 2 small towels and are not good at providing more unless u give them back asap, weird. Even though breakfast is included it’s very limited and cold. No bar or food accommodation in area or convenient restaurants near . I would stay closer to Montejo area.

Well located hotel close to the big market. Good secure parking. Nice pool but need to be repainted. Nice big bedroom overlooking the pool. Mattress are AWFUL. Towels too...no hand towel, no pool towel. We've been to this hotel before. We used to have a small breakfast buffet now they serve you kind of omelet one day with rice the other day with frijoles...very basic but included in the price of the room. Wifi could also be improved but funcional.

Lovely staff and good location

Good value old fashioned hotel. Comfy beds and great air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty and changed every day we were there, but consisted of some sort of scrambled egg dish and a side of beans, rice or pasta. On our last day there the breakfast included meat throughout and when I told the lady I didn't eat meat she made me a fresh batch of plain scrambled eggs which was so kind. There was also delicious cake, nesquik and cornflakes plus bread and jam. All the staff we met were just so lovely and kind! The pool is great and because it's a decent size it remains cool and refreshing all day. It is quite outdated and the shower isn't great but would still stay here again if we came back to Mérida.

It was a very easy check in; the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. It is very conveniently located- walkable to the center and restaurants/shops. The hotel itself was very nicely decorated, plenty of room to sit and hang out, very pretty colonial feel. The pool area was also very nice to sit and have a drink and enjoy time with your friends and family. I stayed in the main floor closest to the end so i did not have a neighbor therefore it was very quiet and peaceful, the room had a little bit of a smell but it is most likely humidity and not enough ventilation because the windows do not open. The towels were a little hard to the touch they may need new ones or to wash better. The beds were comfortable enough, the bathroom and shower were good for what you need them for. The staff outside of the front desk were not very friendly or polite, did not like the food schedule: we were unable to order food because of the cut off point and because they close early on Sunday and we did not know. The happy hour was nice and drinks were very cheap. Breakfast was not appetizing but it was good enough if you don’t want to spend money or walk anywhere. Overall would stay again but would bring my own towels and would eat out.
