Lived up to the description, very secluded and quiet. Perfect for a nice trip away from the chaos of city life.

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff, room was very dated but clean. On reflection, I would have expected to pay $80-$100 for the room.

Very secluded place. Impressed with restaurant, bar, and hotel.although it is somewhat dated, very comforable, very good location and great get away place. Would definately stay again. Especially good for snowmoblers or atv. Lots of beautiful trails at your doorstep

6/10 Good

Staff was great! However, our room was right above the bar and the bar doesn’t close until 3am. The motel is very outdated but clean.
Linda, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Not a bad place to stay if you like something out in the country, has its own bar which is cool. It’s definitely 1970,so everything is old but for the price it’s expected.
Nicholas, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

a little overpriced for being off the beaten path in the middle of the woods. It is older and somewhat outdated. It is an ok place. I enjoyed the stay for the most part
Darryl, 1-night trip

I arrived at 1:30am, I was happy that there was somebody that was working to give me a key. They were friendly. I would definately stay there again. The bed are very squeaky and noisy, I usually stay at Hiltons or Marriotts, this is NOT that, but it is clean, charming, rustic-ish, squeaky floors, but there again...sort of cool. I felt safe, you will be driving on dirt roads to get there though, be ready for that. I give a very positive rating. I slept like a baby that night there.
Brian, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Gravel road, dingy narrow stairs and hallway, shared bathroom all would have been nice to know before getting there.

I loved that it was in the middle of nowhere, amazing staff and service. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a place off the beaten path!
Matthew, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very rustic. Lack of modern necessities. No cell service.
Andrew, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Shared bathroom was extremely warm one tiny soap no wastebasket. Coffee maker broken creamer was spoiled. Bedrock hard
Todd, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Less than mediocre. Actual room was not even close to what was thought to be. Shared bathroom. No indication of in online ad. Horrible security specifically room door and locks.

Matt, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It’s right in the middle of the orv trail system and right in the middle of the woods, love that. However if you are not into the bar scene don’t stay at the lodge itself stay in one of the cabins. It was loud you could hear the music in our room as well as bar noise. Tgere were bar customers outside our door until 2am. Wasn’t aware this would be an issue when I booked. Also, check I was confusing. There was no link sent to my email and when you get to the property no sign up about who to contact.
Sarah, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Didn’t realize it was on a dirt road.
Robert, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This property was being run by very young adults. When we checked in, a very young male had to call his Mom on the phone to get our room details. We went up to the room and the bathroom door was locked. A young woman came up and got it unlocked. We were very disturbed to find out that is was a shared bathroom. The door to the adjoining room was partially open. The bathroom had dirty towels spread about. We had our 2 grandsons with us. This was not a safe environment. There was a bar below us and it was packed with locals. When I booked the room I booked a cabin but when we got there we had a room in the lodge. I recommend you stay away from this property.
