Incredible service and great experience!
Incredible location for the hikers and nature lovers. Great service by personal attention by the owner David and his crew. Special mention to Matt for those delicious food (trust me) and over all service from Richard. Loved our stay and will return…

We booked this hotel for three people—two adults and one child. Upon arrival, the child’s bed was not prepared, and the next day, we were informed they had forgotten to set it up. The room was very dirty, and the bed linens were not changed during our stay. Not recommended.

2 night stay
Will start with the plus points.Check in was easy and we had a lovely roast dinner. The bed was comfortable. We chose breakfast at 9 and there was plenty of options. The chef made a fantastic breakfast and was very helpful/friendly.
Unfortunately we did find faults with our stay.On arrival we noticed that there were no tea bags and only about 3 sheets of toilet paper. When we went for dinner we did mention this and also that the window didn’t open. The waitress gave us a half used toilet roll from the ladies toilet (we popped out for the evening and when we returned there was another one in our bathroom). The window wasn’t looked at and so the room was very stuffy and hot at night.
There was no shower gel in the bathroom dispenser (luckily we had brought our own) and the towels were marked. Out of 5 spotlights in the room there was only 1 that worked properly and another that was very faint, emergency light had tape on and in one of the drawers there was a broken ornament.
As I said previously, the bed was comfy but there was no headboard and so when we sat up in bed we were leaning against the wall. The curtains only just closed and the hooks moved.
Although the food was lovely, the chairs were extremely uncomfortable and so after eating our dinner we drove to another pub for the evening, we returned about 9.30 and the pub here was already closed.
Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again as the rooms need a lot of TLC but the staff and breakfast were very good.

Lovely stay with the family
Had a lovely stay with my family. I think what made the stay even better here was the breakfast! So much to choose from cooked and continental. Filled us up ready for a day of exploring. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay, would definitely return
