Would definitely stay again! Comfy beds, cold air conditioning, hot shower. Loved the rooftop view, pool and small restaurant that served food and drinks. Short walk to the beach and shopping. Only downside was that the elevator was broken but we managed with the stairs ! Also loved the laid back feel of the town !

Staff at Areia are awesome! The pool has a beautiful view. The restaurant/bar and staff are awesome! We had one of the penthouse rooms and it was very nice. We enjoyed the lounge chairs on the lanai and it had a plunge pool We read previous reviews and knew the elevator wasn't working which is fine, we typically use the stairs. There was a refrigerator and safe in the room so that was very helpful. It was a bummer that the water available to all was in the lobby and there was no ice machine or ice available. Wifi worked fine. The TV had Netflix available if you logged in. There were some other free options which was nice. The breakfast was pastries which was fine (again we read prior reviews so that was helpful to know). We aren't coffee drinkers-the coffee machine in the lobby looked adequate. At night, you could hear the loud music from the restaurant/bar behind the hotel. We stayed a week and the music seemed to stop later on the weekends. The location is perfect for us-easily walkable to restaurants, bars, the beach, the grocery store-everything! We will definitely return.

Desafortunadamente al llegar no había energía eléctrica por causas ajenas al hotel, teniendo que hacer espera de 3 horas en esa situación, vía telefónica solicité si podían hacer la cancelación y me dijeron que no, que solo a través del medio que había reservado, lo cual ya no me era posible. Me ofrecieron accesar a la habitación transcurridas 2 horas. El elevador no funcionaba y la habitacion asignada estaba hasta el 4to piso. El hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento, hay que dejar el coche afuera. Aún no tiene restaurante disponible, por lo que el “desayuno incluido” es café, jugo y pan dulce que tienen de cortesía. Aún está en construcción el piso 1 y 2, por lo que se percibe el polvo fino en las habitaciones y en donde han taladrado hay polvo acumulado. La habitación es cómoda y el personal en el hotel fue amable.
