Great Location and Service I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient – the light rail transit is right outside, making it easy to explore Hiroshima. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my visit, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. One small suggestion for improvement: it would be helpful to have an additional towel bar or rack installed in the bathroom, perhaps near the door. This would make it easier to grab towels after showering and provide better space for drying them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hiroshima.

During our 20-day journey, the most memorable meal was at UmiShima Dining, the onsite restaurant. Although it operates as a café and buffet-style venue, the à la carte dinner options were exceptional. The Wagyu steak was hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted, and the cod appetizer was bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive—attentive, warm, and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here. The hotel itself is lovely and ideally situated for exploring Hiroshima’s key attractions and makes for a perfect base for a day trip to Miyajima Island.

In the middle of lovely Hiroshima, All you need to have in terms of various dining, shopping, cafes, transportation etc, just steps away from your room door… Comfy room despite it’s size which is OK if you utilize each given space. We originally booked this stay because the hotel is attached to the JR station, but we were pleasantly surprised with how much we loved it! The room was bigger than we anticipated and decorated beautifully, and we had an amazing view of the city. We didn't realize how new the South Gate building was so that probably contributed to how clean and well organized everything was.

A tidy and convenient hotel

I choose this hotel because of the good comment on net. As what people said, it is very good. The location is excellent. No matter you take the JR trains, Shinkensen, trams or buses, they are available in a minute. I recommend to choose this hotel. For the buffet breakfast, they provide wide range of food and drinks in hood quality. Staff are very nice and polite. Offering a cheerful smile to me and delighted my day. This is my first time to Hiroshima and you give me a great memory. Thanks.

Brand new property above Hiroshima train station. The train station is new and full of stores and restaurants. The hotel staff are very attentive. Next time I’m in Hiroshima I will return to this hotel.

Great quiet location

Rooms were small but very comfortable and quiet! The breakfast was amazing, and the automated check in, checkout, and elevator procedures were fun. They also had free self baggage which offered a locking mechanism for your bags which felt very safe. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Definitely a great location next to the station so we didn’t have to lug our bags very far.
