It’s a beautiful property with great views. The only problem was not having heat on a cool night, but they provided a space heater the next night.

Lovely venue that sits by the water. The continental breakfast is delicious and set on a glass porch overlooking the bay. Close to the beach for walking, a perfect location.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable. There were other places to hang out of you wanted. Coffee, tea and water throughout the day. Breakfast was good, I would suggest to let people know what breakfast is when asking if they want some. Staff was courteous. And the view was just beautiful, even on the rainy days.

This inn is located on beautiful Casco Bay with a nearby beach. It is run by South Maine Community College and the friendly students studying Hospitality Management will serve you a lovely continental breakfast and make your stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful building and location. The room was clean and nicely appointed. Shower curtain liner needs to be replaced (moldy), otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Unique, quality experience

A rare gem. On the Southern Maine Community College Campus. Steps away from water. A well restored former military residence, likely for officers. A true Maine experience. The inn is staffed by students. With few exceptions, all are genuinely eager to service well, learn, and support a satisfying guest experience.

The location is perfect close to the beach. The staff at the desk was helpful but the hotel offers no services and the breakfast buffet was very basic. From 9-10 a la carte breakfast was supposedly a choice but at 9:40 I was told that it was over. The rooms are not made daily so to my surprise I walked back at night to an unmade bed and bathroom. I wanted to support the hospitality students but the school needs to go deeper in their training.

The light switch at the door turns the TV on and off, which isn’t very convenient. The shower knob that changes the water from the spout to the showerhead kept falling out. The drop ceilings are gross and have black mold on them. The view is lovely from the windows.

I was looking for a quant boutique hotel close to Portland and found this site. You know the pictures are sometimes really generic, in tbis instance they didn't do the property justice. It is quant, and also serves sits on the campus of a community college, with hospitality students as staff. But the best thing, the views of Casco Bay.
