Lækkert hotel

Stadshotellet er helt klart et sted vi vil tilbage til - især hvis man f.eks skal til Astrid Lindgrens verden. Rummene er lækre og nyrenoveret. Stor morgenmadsbuffet. Alt i alt et godt sted. Elevatoren venter man lang tid på, så hvis du er afhængig af den, så er det rimelig frustrerende.

Eldre hotell men med fint oppusset rom, delikat bad, kaffemaskin på rommet, kjøleskap og meget god seng. Lystette gardiner og godt inneklima. Dette var over forventning bra!

Kun for børnefamilier?

Mange mange børn og meget kaos. Jeg synes det er rigtig dejligt med fokus på børnene, men det bør ikke være det eneste/største fokuspunkt. Vimmerby er ikke kun for børn, det er også for voksne der er interesseret i Astrid Lindgren. Der er så meget i forvejen der er minded på børn, fx en flot legeplads lige uden for hotellet. Derfor kunne det være rart at man også som voksen kunne nyde stedet, uden kaos og fx vandkamp…. som de ansatte opildnede en flok børn til. Her kunne spa området have været oplagt, men det var sæson lukket.

Undvik om ni har alternativ i närheten

Hotellet är ganska slitet och upplevs som gammalt. Rummet hade ingen garderob eller plats för att hänga av sig ordentligt. Rummet skulle vara anpassat för 2 vuxna + 1 barn, men vi fick leva ur resväskorna även om vi var där i 3 nätter. På frukosten var det mycket extra sommarpersonal och redan vid 9 på morgonen började det bli tomt på vissa saker. Funkar kanske för 1 natt när man besöker Astrid Lindgrens värld, men skulle inte rekommendera längre uppehåll än så.
