6/10 Good

Average and not smoke free

Room was ok with a good view but the drawback was a lot of cigarette smoke entered the room from the people smoking in the garden below the window. It was quite hot and there is no AC. This was a business trip and the wifi was virtually non existent along with mobile reception. So I had to drive into town to get some work done. Ate there twice and the food came out so hot that you couldn't really eat it for a good 15-20 mins, obviously nuked in a microwave. I even burnt my finger on a ciabatta roll. There are cigarette dog ends everywhere around the property on the floor and I think most guests smoked, which is their prerogative but the whole place just smelt like a giant ashtray so I spent as little time there as possible. I wouldn't stay again, but if you like the smell of ashtrays and cigarettes and food hotter than the sun then you'll enjoy this place.

Had large family room, bathroom rather small. Rather noisey from road traffic as we were at front of hotel. Staff friendly and breakfast really good. Would stay again

Room was lovely hotel was nice lake was lovely to walk round evening meal was nice Breakfast however not so nice :( over cooked and items undercooked you cant drink the water so have to buy it after being given 2 bottles in room.they cost £2 each for water Alot of workers were staying the hotel who didnt care about other guests especially at 2am drinking in the garden No directions on where to.go for dinner or breakfast was a guess job in the hotel
Amanda, 1-night trip

Very comfortable and relaxing - food well cooked and ample portions. nothing too much trouble.
6-night trip

8/10 Very good

Check in was really friendly, the room is good. I'm in a single room with a skylight instead of window, but the air con was welcome and effective. Only criticism is that I wasn't told or shown that there is a pole provided (tucked away behind the tea/coffee table) to close the ceiling blind (and I was too tired after a long journey to go downstairs and ask) so I was up with the daylight.
