The room and location was perfect.

Amazing Stay and Experience

Staying the night on Mont Saint-Michel was nothing short of magical and I highly recommend it. The Mouton Blanc was wonderful and its included breakfast was delicious and fueled us the next morning so we could climb up to the abbey : )

It was a decent value for the location. We liked staying over and seeing the Mont at night when it was quiet. Make sure you remember that the reception is way before the hotel. It says reception Les Terraasses Poulard, right above the Restaurant La Confiance. The room was clean, small, beds were good, view of the bay which was nice. The buffet breakfast was included and the usual mix of breads, meats cheeses with hot eggs, bacon and sausage. Everything seemed fresh. Many of the restaurants are owned by the same company so the menu is very similar. I wouldn’t stay for more than 1 night with limited food options and the abbey is gorgeous, but having a couple of hours to explore it and the island is plenty.

Between 9 am and 630 pm you can barely walk down the street because theres SO many people. Hotel was good. Check in is near the entrance and should be specified as we walked up to the hotel, which took about 25 minutes to get 100 feet before being turned around and sent back to the entrance… Not all rooms are actually within the hotel. Facilities were good once we found our room.

Perfect place to stay on the island!! Rooms are small but everything on the island is. Perfect place to stay and wait out all the tourist traffic to explore Mont st Michel

We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is great—nice and very clean. The view is nice, too! However, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 p.m., not 4:00 p.m. We were able to drop off our bags before checking in and after checking out, which was very convenient. Overall, it was very positive.

You stay here for the location on the Mont. We stayed in the family room which was suitable for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable enough. The full bathroom was larger than we were expecting.

Glad we stayed overnight, worth the clunkiness

Excellent directions sent in advance for parking, but at check-in time, the rooms still weren’t ready. This is not a hotel per se, but a bunch of old residences turned in to hotel rooms. Our room was in a different building from the other 2 members of our family. There is no AC and no fridges in the rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent and had a wide selection of fresh food.

The one thing you have to keep in mind is that the receptionist is at a different location. It seems that one place owns a few in town. The stay was perfect as well as customer service, breakfast and convenience
Ariadna, 1-night trip

We came in a bit late and were confused as to where to check in. We got to our room and were able to eat dinner and breakfast the following morning. Given that accommodations on Mont St. Michel are limited, we had a good room and a great experience.
David, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Check in was really confusing and hared to figure out. The room was clean but moist and stuffy as there is no air-conditioner or fan for the summer months. I can't speak for the rooms that are actually in the hotel as we were in a separate location that is off site, this was not clear when booking. Breakfast was wonderful!
Regan, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The best thing about this hotel is that it allowed me to be first in line the next morning to see the abbey. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Ok hotel, but some things to know before you go

The hotel room itself was good enough. Nothing in perticular to put the finger on. The check-in was also satisfying. However, there are some issues people should know before they arrive: The check in is at the start of the street, and is combined with a couple of other hotels at Mont Saint-Michel. If you go to the restaurant up the street, as pictured at hotels.com, you'll be sent back down again. Check-in is not until 16 o'clock, so you'll have to kill some time in the VERY busy and narrow streets. We found some restaurants and had some drinks while waiting 4 hours with our backpacks. The restaurant owned by the hotel closed at 16, but we found another to eat in the evening. The breakfast was in a restaurant across the street from the annex we stayed at. Be sure to bring ear plugs, as the restaurants/shops starts restocking goods and preparing for the upcoming day before 7 in the morning. Be aware that the whole town is flooded with tourists all day, but is almost dead after 17 o'clock. No street lights, and most shops closed. Only some restaurants are open (until 21). Then it's good night.

Lovely, charming place

Wonderful hotel right in the middle of magical, Mont St Michel. Very clean and very charming. It was like staying in a fairy tale. The breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a great experience in Saint Michelle.
ELIZABETH, 1-night trip

Our room 308 had spectacular views and was worth the steps to get there. The room was surprisingly spacious and the beds were comfortable and seemed to be queen sized. Staff was lovely at check in and check out.
Rhonda, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The hotel was clean, however the beds were horribly worn and uncomfortable. It was difficult to check-in with no instructions provided before making it a confusing process while fighting the crowds with luggage. No screens in windows to allow them to stay open to cool off room because of the birds and flies. With the shuttle operating till midnight you do not need to stay on the island to enjoy it with less crowds. Definitely not worth the price.
Katie, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and everyone was very kind. Check-in was a bit confusing since the reception desk wasn’t located at the hotel. Instead, it was near the entrance of the island and shared check-in office for all hotels on the island. The free breakfast was provided at a local restaurant rather than at the hotel. Be sure to check with the staff at the reception office for details.

Clean and comfortable room in awesome location

We stayed in the Jeanne D'Arc Annexe, which provided a simple but comfortable room for our family of 3. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. Although it was a hot evening (August) during our stay, opening the windows provided a lovely breeze, which worked well.
Cassandra, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Check in was a bit confusing as you don’t check in at the hotel. Also no signs to tell you where to go. Had to rely on other guests to direct us. Also, very noisy hotel in the morning as the make deliveries at 6am Very very loud and we were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as again you don’t eat at the restaurant in the hotel, but rather a restaurant up the walkway. Not very good breakfast. Otherwise the hotel is in great location, rooms are clean and very comfortable
Brian, 1-night trip

Nice experience, nice rooms

Nice place, rooms seems newly renovated. Therefore, also clean and in good condition. The breakfast included was nothing special and did not get much attention.
Alexander, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The property was well located, and overall a good place to stay. The lack of ventilation (no AC and pigeons just outside windows) made things a little uncomfortable. Room was austere, but clean and breakfast was very good.
