We greatly enjoyed our stay with CBR Boutique Hotel. The location is very central, right next to the river and main street with plenty of shops and restaurants. The themed rooms are stylish and clean. The breakfast is simple but good and definitely enough to fill you up. What impressed me the most was the staff's hospitality and helpfulness, as they looked out for me and helped me recover my valuables. I am deeply grateful to them for saving my trip! Will definitely stay with them if I visit Coimbra again.

The room was quiet, clean and pleasantly decorated. It was on the 4th floor at the back of the building. The location was easy to find in the heart of the attractions. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. From afternoon to midnight there are pastries and beverages for free in the lounge.

The staff and breakfast on rooftop were great. We enjoyed afternoon snack with a wonderful view. Although the room was clean, the hotel needs to replace the carpet. There was a large stain in our room. The location was great and a walkable distance to many restaurants, the river and university.

CBR BOUTIQUE was so charming and cozy. We absolutely loved the Biblica Joanina theme decor in the reception lobby and in the room. Room was very impressive, overlooking the river. Loved the location. All you have to do is wLk out of the hotel and you walk out on the main street with plenty of choices of restaurants. Highly recommend CBR BOUTIQUE.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Everyone was so nice. Breakfast was good. The room was really special. The only problem is parking. If you are driving, there is a really tight parking garage not too far away, but it is not ideal. But I have only good things to say about the actual hotel and staff.

It is a charming small hotel. The staff and the facilities all wonderful. Great breakfast, included and amazing views from rooftop all add to charm of the hotel.

Clean room but weird setup. It's "book" themed so there are stone "books" all over the walls of the shower, bathroom, etc. Even the floor had a stone "rug" and the large vanity (which had very little space for toiletries) was made of stone. Strangely enough, both the shower stall and the toilet stall (facing each other) had glass doors so it would be awkward for two people to use both at the same time. It was also awkward to use the bathroom stall with the glass door. The roof was nice with snacks and drinks but the staff was sparse so forget about extra service. Checking in was odd too. The lobby is tiny and not always staffed. You have to ring a bell outside to get in or if the door is open (not often) you must go in a glass door and ring a bell. Bed was nice. Towels were good. View was nice into the square.

A beautiful hotel in a prime location. We walked the whole city. The library theme in the hotel was amazing and made for an interesting stay. Parking across the river was easy and just a short walk across the bridge after dropping off our luggage.
