I cannot say enough positive things about this resort. the staff was very accommodating, and the rooms and entire facility were beautiful. We were very pampered from the time we stepped into the hotel until we checked out. The hotel was a mile or two off the beaten path but we enjoyed not feeling too crowded in. Taxis were everywhere and usually a 10-12$ fee to nightlife, shopping, or airport. We would 100% return to the Joia for our next visit.

The room and property brand new Service is good But there are things that didnt made this 5 stars vacation For example, i set the sign to clean the room at 8 am and it wasnt cleaned till 15 when i called them several times to clean the room Another example is that we didnt had wifi for 1 day And there is no bellmen service until 7 am , so if you need to leave eraly, then you should be the bellmen which isnt expected in 5 stars

The Perfect Honeymoon!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! It’s everything you’d expect from a brand new 5 star hotel. The room was great, the food and drinks at Marea were excellent as well as the poolside food and drinks. Special shout out to Camille at the rooftop bar/pool, she was so sweet and made our time by the pool that much better! The beach in front of the resort is beautiful and very quiet compared. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Brand new resort still under construction, but the open areas were impeccable. Our room was beautiful with a great view of ocean over Eagle Beach. Staff was very friendly and always professional. The amenities were great and will only get better as they add 2 more restaurants, casino, and golf course.

This property has everything you need for an amazing getaway in Aruba. Located on Eagle Beach, it’s not too busy. There’s tons of beach chairs provided by the hotel and the staff on the beach make you feel safe leaving your belongings there while you go in the water. I’d recommend exploring restaurants close by and on Palm Beach as there’s tons of options. The food options at this resort were also incredible. We will definitely be back!!

The staff were amazing here!! Everyone was so eager to please and very kind. They made you feel like you belong there. I mentioned it was my boyfriend’s birthday briefly and they made sure he felt celebrated and special! The poolside bartender Roney was so welcoming and made the best drinks. Everyone else from housekeeping, servers, cafe staff, to front desk had superior service. That is rare these days let me tell you! The pools were great and the quick cross of the road to the pristine beach was incredible. The complimentary beach chairs, the filtered water stations and free sunscreen were all very thoughtful perks. The location of the hotel is in a great area in Eagle beach. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the “strip” in the Palm beach area, but close enough to take a quick cab or rent the electric scooters that were easily accessible on the beach sidewalks and streets. I had an amazing stay here and would certainly recommend to anyone going to Aruba! We would love to come back! Thank you to all the staff!

Not bad, but definitely not 5 star. There are much better choices for the price. Pros: 1 new hotel, very clean. Beautiful lobby and comfortable rooms. 2 location. Hotel is on eagle beach, although it’s not actually on the beach (see cons). Cons: 1 Dining experience was bad. Food and drinks were priced similar to top hotels but quality was much lower. Choices/selection is limited and poor. 2 location- it’s across the street from the beach. And it’s a bit of a walk from the rooms. There are many other hotels that are directly on the water and this creates a much better more relaxed feel and better ambience, where you can walk from your room right onto the beach. Iberostar also has no beach restaurant/bar, and no beach cabanas. Generally the layout of the hotel exacerbates this and creates an impersonal and stark feel. 3 service. Service is often slow…meanwhile it’s not uncommon to see the staff all hanging out together. 4 hours: pool closes ant 600 pm. Ridiculously early, especially since this is right after the wind tends to die down on Aruba. Worse: they take away the beach chairs before sunset: so if you want to watch sunset, you’ll be doing it from the sand. I would not stay at iberostar again unless it was part of a super cheap package…and honestly it’s a joke to call this place a 5 star hotel.
