Hotels.com increased rate of my first night.

We made this booking with Hotels.com because the rate was reasonable and it had free cancelation. I did end up having to cancel my second night before the cutoff time and the rate for the first night nearly doubled. That rate was NOT AT ALL reasonable, for the property. Hotel is dated but the room was clean.

No attention to details (no tissus, no recycling). We had to keep going to the front desk to reactivate our key cards. Bed was comfortable but the air conditioning made a lot of noise.

Unfortunately the stay for 2 nights was not great. Some upgrades but wouldn’t book again. Loud A/C in room very damp floors from condensation. No iron, humidifier in hallway on first floor. Parking spaces were limited & surrounding area on back of hotel not cleaned.

Once beautiful, not any more!

The hotel had renovations done in the last decade but were not well done. You can tell when professionals do the work, this wasn't the case here. The fake wood tiles in the hallways were cracking under your feet, the paint on the room doors were all scratched, and the bathrooms were done with the cheapest of materials. We tried to connect to the internet and never had Internet Access. Even after calling the front desk it was never rectified. Any time you're paying over $140. to spend a night, you would expect much better than this. This appears to have once been a beautiful hotel, sadly persons from elsewhere have purchased it and are bringing it to a third world level. We will not be back.
