Good hotel

This was a great hotel to stay at in Pana. The included breakfast at 7 Caldos was amazing.

Nothing fancy, but great location and service

My kids loved the hammocks! Great location and very friendly. We didn’t have hot water, and internet wasn’t great, but the modest accommodations were fine for a couple days at the lake. The restaurant is very good.

Wonderful stay in a hidden place

The room was great on the second floor. The front desk host was very friendly and allowed early check in for us. Our room was very big with 5 queens size bed and 1 small twin. Good for families, food at the restaurant was very delicious. nighttime was our favorite time of our stay. enjoyed a cup of coffee outside and took many pictures.

No hot shower. Very noisy. Dirty floors.

Miscommunication at check in because their property didn't distinguish between older and younger children. Had to spend 2 hours and rebooked the SAME ROOM for 50 cents less (literally). Breakfast was good, at the restaurant next door. Had to ask for TP, and ask for room cleaning. Only 2 towels for 3 people, shower was horrible, no ventilation in the room, no where to put towels. Nice beds. Would not return.

6/10 Good

The location is excellent, with everything just a short walk away. The staff is friendly, though it took a little while to find my reservation. The room was as shown in the photos, but could use more furniture for storing belongings. The bathroom is spacious, but there were ants coming from the shower faucet and windows. Breakfast was great, and laundry service was efficient—clothes dropped off at 8 AM were ready by 4 PM. Although the location is ideal, it can get noisy at night due to parties/karaokes from nearby hotels/restaurants. Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly service, though there’s room for improvement in cleanliness and noise control.

Very comfortable place to stay in Panajachel. Right next to a restaurant so super convenient for excellent food. The garden view room curtains don’t really afford you privacy as they are kind of see-through. WiFi was available but didn’t work once while I was staying here so I relied completely on my phone’s data plan for internet. Receptionists very friendly and allowed me to keep my luggage there after check out.

We didn't have water for 4 days. The first day, no hot water, the second and third no water at all, the 4th we had a trickle but the cleaning lady is the one who finally got us got water so we could shower in our own room. The hotel clerks kept telling us they were working on the problem but, I believe they were just lying to us. We booked 3 people, myself, wife and son, they would only honor 2 free breakfasts per day and only gave us 2 towels because they said kids don't count on expedia (travelocity)!!! The location is really good for getting on the boats and close to restaurants. I wouldn't recommend staying here its not worth the hassle!!! There is no a/c and it was too warm at night for us.

Asked for a quiet room and since there is no A/C on the rooms, everything on the exterior was heard. Heavy construction works started at 6:30AM, waking me with a hammer hitting concrete. The hotel restaurant had good food and the property is well located within short walk to the main streets.

I would definitely stay here again. Otto was extremely helpful and was available to help with whatever we needed; transportation, towels, reservations, etc. The hotel is very convenient to everywhere in Panajachel yet just enough off of the beaten path to be quiet at night. The rooms are a bit Spartan but very clean. Breakfast is included at 7 Caldos next door with great authentic Guatemalan fare. I can’t say enough good things about Otto at the front desk. He is genuinely concerned about providing whatever assistance you may need.

No hotel name outside.Located behind 7 Caldos.Took sometime before we found it.I was double charged on my credit card but they refunded me right away when I complained.Free typical guatemalan breakfast. Free instant coffee and water. pillows too thin and mattress sagging , not comfy to sleep.

2/10 Poor

the hotel was a huge disappointment and very unclean. to start there was hair, lint, and dirtiness all over the bed. there was a thick layer of dust, spider webs, and a dead spider in the room. all along the walls, there was dirtiness and mold. but the worst part was definitely the bathroom: moldy, rusted, and nasty. there were holes in the towels they gave us, and mildew all around the drains. This hotel showed a complete lack of cleanliness and upkeeping. When we complained about the holes in the towel, we were given new towels that were also ripped. Additionally, upon returning from the hotel at night, we were locked out of the hotel. We had to fish around the lobby to find the spare keys ourselves. NO RECEPTION and NO FOREWARNING. The staff were friendly, but the standards of hygiene and general upkeep were unacceptable. I would not recommend.

TERRIBLE !!! It was the worst hotel that I have stayed. I went with my son and my two nephews. The walls and door were dirty, the soap from the previous visitor was still there, when I opened the faucet, the top came off, the shower curtain was the plastic one that you put under the main curtain, and cheap hooks, and with mold !!!!. No A/C, and the fan was extremely noisy. My nephews room was worst, spider web behind the bed the towels were so used that they have holes, mold also in the curtains, disgusting. When we came back from a night in town, the door for the lobby was locked and nobody was at the front desk, we had to look for the keys in a box that we found at the reception area, it took us an hour to find the right one. Breakfast was included, because I wanted coffee before leaving I went to the "terrace", and when I asked for milk for my coffee, they told me that it was extra and I was going to be charged. What???? I don't recommend this hotel to anybody, don't be fooled with the pictures. Not even a nice entrance. Terrible experience.
