Firstly, there are two Alegria hotels in Todos Santos. Once is outside of town on the water and the other is in the Historic district, so check you're heading to the right one. I went to the wrong property at first. They are run by a mother/daughter team - Elena and Happy, both of whom are lovely, and was kindly redirected to the correct property.
As I was traveling by myself, I wanted to stay in town, but if I was with other people I'd probably prefer the other property. The hotel in town is in a great location, very walkable and lots of parking nearby. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Alegria Centro is a beautiful eco friendly hotel. Management was easy to communicate with and the decor is beautiful. A very comfortable bed and the sunsets off the balcony were stunning. I highly recommend this property if visiting Todo Santos.

Sporadic hot water. Often cold, then scaulding hot, then cold again. The system doesn’t function properly. Basically, never got a decent shower.
Room construction is very nice, but lighting is odd. Bright white LED mini spot lights, when the decor and ambiance could have been much better.
No towel hooks in the bathroom, except IN the shower... very odd.
Lots of potential in this place. I hope the owner spends a night in the room, then addresses all the problems.
If done, they'll have a great offering.
