a beautiful stay in Grindelwald

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was charming and very clean with a balcony looking toward the beautiful Alps!! We were welcomed by the owners and provided with helpful tips on how to experience the Alps from Grindlewald. We ate a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel with excellent service and very nice menu choices. Parking was also available, free, and convenient.

Old world charm. Very good condition. Delicious breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We did visit at a time when the weather was much hotter than usual and there was no A/C. Which made for uncomfortable nights, but the whole town had the same problem. We would stay here again.

We stayed in summer. Hotel is outside of town a bit but on a main drag (where busses go by occasionally - which seems to be sort of normal for this town.) Walkable - 10-15 mns to town center. Bar was welcomed and balconies were a nice plus. Amenities were adequate but not amazing.

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere and pleasant staff. Perfect location at the far end of the Main Street, quiet but accessible. Dinner is highly recommended and a good value. Grindelwald museum across the street has unique history of the area and mountaineering activities. I would stay here again.
