A proper country retreat. Warm and welcoming - I honestly felt like a bit of a VIP during my stay. The team sorted a room change for me without any fuss and even arranged a late checkout, which made everything so much easier. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food and drink were top-notch, especially the produce from the owners’ farm. The staff were first rate throughout: friendly, helpful, and genuinely thoughtful. It made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another work trip. In fact, I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m already planning to come back for a weekend break with my wife, not just for work.

Had a fantastic few days here. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked they always provided an answer to our requests promptly and happily. Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended.
