Very, very Basic hotel near train station and easy walk to Marienplatz. No drinking glass or kleenex. A/c worked well and bed ok. We didn’t eat their breakfast. Coffee shop next door. Laundry with nice helpful attendant across the street.

We recently stayed at Hotel Stachus as a family of six and had a truly wonderful experience! We reserved two rooms, and both were clean, spacious, and very comfortable - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The location is unbeatable. Just 150 meters from the Stachus (Karlsplatz) train station exit, it was incredibly easy to get around Munich and beyond. Even better, many of the city’s top attractions were within walking distance. We walked to Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, Residenz Palace, Hofbräuhaus, and the farmer's market. A lot of restaurants too for dine in or take out. If you're looking for a central, family-friendly hotel in Munich that is reasonably priced, and offers comfort, convenience, and easy access to the city’s best sights, Hotel Stachus is a fantastic choice. We would absolutely stay here again!
