The hotel is on the second floor of a traditional Rome apartment building. The rest of the building is currently undergoing renovation work. The hotel itself feels very new, when you enter it through a door off the stairs. Between the hotel inner door and the outer door to the street there is work going on. There is a small lift or easy stairs to climb to the hotel.
The location is fantastic, a few minutes walk to shops, Spanish steps, restaurants etc.
The hotel itself was a small reception desk then all the rooms. Reception is staffed 8am to 8pm. Our room was a superior room, city view.
The room was new and clean, with a queen bed and toilet /shower room. We overlooked a restaurant which was noisy but you couldn't hear anything with the window closed. There was a large smart TV and good wifi. It would have been nice to have a chair or two in the room but we could sit on the bed ok.
Overall I would say you’re paying for a fantastic location and a small, clean, modern room. It didn’t feel like a “hotel” with no reception area, restaurant etc.
