Dave at the front desk was probably the most helpful and kind staff I have ever talked to in any hotel! He was so accomodating and allowed for early check in too! This hotel was a great location, close to downtown, and has a nice and warm pool! They also have a number you can text if you need anything rather than calling the lobby like other hotels. My only complaint is that there is no streaming on the TVs so you can't watch Netflix or Prime Video.

The Dunes was originally a fairly mediocre Quality Inn that I have stayed at in the past because of the price and the fantastic location. But WOW, the renovation to become the Dunes was remarkable. It wasn't just updated, but instead there was a total makeover. Nice rooms with big screen TV, new bathrooms, new AC and very comfortable bedding and decent quality towels. The inviting pool/jacuzzi area with a view of the mountains was furnished with high end chaise lounges and cabanas you didn't need to reserve. Luxury at an affordable price.
