Great Weekend Stay

Surprised to get an early check in at 2pm - room was very good, clean, stocked with sufficient coffee,tea, water, biscuits for the one night stay. The room also had a mini fridge which was handy for keeping drinks cool. Ice despenser in the corridor was also a bonus.

Stayed here for work trip few years ago. Very clean and comfortable. Ironing board and iron in room. Access to guest portal with info on facilities and menus etc. This trip was personal and hotel so handy for bus, train, shopping and eating. Staff always so friendly and courteous...from Reception to Housekeeping. Some things starting to wear but minor and nothing that would spoil enjoyment.

The staff were great and the lobby/restaurant for breakfast were good. The condition of the room was poor. There were holes in the walls in the bathroom. Not enough lights in the bathroom or bed space. Whole room is dated. Cleanliness of the room could have been better. For the price you are paying the room could have been better.
