Amazing hotel for families. There is so much for kids to do. Hotel is near the beaches, there is baby sitting service as well if parents want couple of hours for themselfs. I really recommend this hotel for families since there is so much to do for everyone.

Amazing family hotel with lot of things to do

Awesome family resort with so much to do for sporty families. Great room with a climbing wall. Fortis gym and gaming room was absolutely amazing. Food was so good. Beautiful beach. Our son said that this is his favorite hotel and we all really loved it.

Skip this resort if you can!! First of all the astronomically high price is in no way justified. The rooms are lack luster at best. While they are "built with children in mind" it really depends on what room you get. The bathrobes are gray and there is a stale smell in the rooms that can't be aired out. While breakfast and dinner are included, expect to still pay for a cup of coffee. The price for a ,below average, double espresso is 7.5€. Even though the resort has more than plenty of parking available also expect yo pay 13€ / day for parking. We ran out of sunscreen and asked the recpetion if there was anywhere we could get sunscreen at the resort. We were directed to the spa where we were changed 50€ for a travel sized packaging of SPF. There is no bell boy after 10PM so if you arrive after 10PM you will have to manage with your own luggage. However, we checked out at 10A.M. on a Sunday and were told there was no one available to help us at check out so ....just don't expect help. The service and experience to price ratio is completely off. There would absolutely be no problem in paying a premium price if we had received premium service, but this resort charges premium prices for below average EVERYTHING. In our opinion a highly overrated and overpriced resort! We will definitely not be coming back and advise you to look into all other options before booking.

Not really a 5 star hotel but it was nice. The pool was lovely. Went half board but drinks in evening expensive which bumps up the cost. Rooms are not good for teenagers, beds not standard size. Asked reception for extra pillow 3 times but didn’t come, asked the maid instead who got one for us. Taxi to airport 60 euro, taxi to town 30 euro one way. Wouldn’t stay again but would recommend to anyone who has young children.

Wir waren im Falkensteiner Kinderhotel und es war wirklich super! Das Hotel ist perfekt für Familien – unsere Kinder hatten jede Menge Spaß und wir Eltern konnten auch ein wenig abschalten. Das Essen war richtig lecker, total abwechslungsreich und für jeden was dabei – auch die Kleinen wurden super versorgt (wir hatten Vollpension gebucht). Besonders positiv ist uns die Sauberkeit aufgefallen. Alles war sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer immer sauber. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut gelaunt – man hat sich einfach willkommen gefühlt. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit und überlegen vielleicht wieder zu kommen.

Disappointing Experience – Far from 5-Star

Our stay at Falkensteiner Zadar was disappointing and far from what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. I had to call the reception at least five times within an hour before anyone answered. After requesting some basic items, it took another hour for them to arrive. Bathrobes for kids were missing, and since no one picked up the phone, I had to go to the reception myself—something that could’ve been avoided if the room was properly prepared based on the reservation. The hotel charges €13/day for parking, which feels unreasonable given the location on the outskirts and the fact that the garage was only 25% full during pre-season. Ice cream is only served at dinner, and the kindergarten for kids under 3 is free for just 2 hours, staffed by only one person. Despite being half full, the service was slow and inconsistent. I can't imagine the situation when it's at full capacity. To top it off, they include a €10/day “voluntary” tip by default, which is unacceptable. On the plus side, the rooms are spacious and the food was mostly good (aside from the beef soup). Still, compared to similar family hotels like Amarin or Lišanj, this one does not justify its high price or 5-star label.

Wahnsinnig gutes Essen… wirklich TOP. Säfte & Wasser aus Automaten sind während des Essen inkludiert. Leider wurde 2x während des 1 wöchigen Aufenthalts nicht das Zimmer gereinigt. Das Hotel ist nur für Kinder bis Grundschulalter wirklich geeignet. Fast alles muss teuer bezahlt werden (Bowling 35€/std, Gaming 10€/Std). Klettern (kostenlos) war leider 3 Tage ausgebucht. Die Getränke sind wirklich teuer. Parken 9,5€/Tag… man kann nicht woanders parken. Pauschal wird 10€ Trinkgeld pro Tag angerechnet- was man beim Check out bezahlt. Darüber und vieles anders wird man nicht informiert und muss sich aktiv Informationen einholen… außer man möchte negativ überrascht werden. Balkon klein nur mit 2 Stühlen und das obwohl großes Familienzimmer gebucht wurde. 3 Pools und aufgrund der Jahreszeit nicht voll. Insgesamt entspricht nur das Essen einem 5 Sterne Hotel- alles andere eher 3-4 Sterne. Besonders die Sauberkeit und die fehlende Informationen sind wirklich nicht gut.
