Comfy Casa in Condesa

We enjoyed our short stay at the Casa Condesa. Paul was a helpful host The room is basic but enough for my young son and I. We had 2 beds, the desk and a small outdoor area. We could open the patio door to let cool air in. Easy to walk to cafes and the park.

Staff is wonderful, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was firm and they had 3 types of pillows (soft, medium and firm), which was fantastic. Great location.

I enjoyed my stay here! Staff are always very polite, professional, and helpful! The location of this hotel is perfect, too! A lot of dining options around the area and if you’re working, cafes with good wifi are abundant in the Condesa area, too. There were days I would go out at 9 or 10PM and be back at 3 or 4AM and I have always felt safe so I would say as a solo female traveler, safety is pretty good, too!

The location is great, very walkable to many restaurants. Bed was comfortable with a choice of soft and firm pillows (nice touch) but we stayed 4 nights and had to call every time we wanted hot water for a shower or shave. They need to do something to fix that.

Our bathroom shower door blocked the hot/cold water handled which can be tricky when setting appropriate temperature.

Pros: There is a concierge available 24/7, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Water pressure is good and the hot water plentiful. Cons: During my stay, there was loud pounding/hammering during the afternoons. We had almost continuous difficulty with WiFi connection, which was very inconvenient.
