It’s a spacious room and safe place. Breakfast was good. You need to carry a local payment card if not local currency or USD for payments. International cards are not accepted. The WiFi coverage was very poor in the room that I stayed.

The view of the lagoon was nice, the room service and housekeepers were friendly, the front desk associated were “ usually” friendly . The food at the restaurant was nice also good. The main issue was the power at the hotel going off at least 3-4 times per day.

This hotel and its staff truly set the standard for exceptional service in Lagos. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic about assisting me with everything I needed to create a wonderful birthday experience for my husband. I appreciated the wide range of services available and the straightforward check-in process. I'm pleased to say that the hotel is quite safe, as a room key is required to access any floor. I really like that! I plan to book another room soon.

Unfortunately my room was ant ridden and there was a big red cockroach in the bathroom. I asked to move rooms and there were ants there too, on the floor and table. The staff were very lovely, respectful and polite. The room size was great… Just a shame about the hygiene aspect.

The pool was cold which is one of the amenities that attracted us to pick the hotel. The hotel pool needs a heater to keep the pool slightly warm which will also help to generate revenue because it would be revenue generating area due to customers buying drinks while lounging at the pool because Nigeria is hot. The lounge/pool side chair cushions or covers needs replacements due to permanent stains despite cleaning. Overall as a Nigerian American my wife and I enjoyed our stay, breakfast provided many choices and all meals ordered after breakfast were delicious and palatable.

The location is convenient. There is room for improvement on service in most areas. The restaurant staff are quite friendly. In-house communications is a problem, one can only call either front desk or room service, if one needs housekeeping they need to call front desk....quite an inconvenience. They do not give out irons, so if one wants a quick press you need to call front desk who sends housekeeping to come get your clothes and the pressing takes a while. So you can imagine the inconvenience when rushing for an appointment. I will stay again, but some of these issues can be sorted out.
