Staff goes above and beyond taking care of my family and kids, giving us anything we need. Always courteous. Room is on the smaller end lacking storage space. Buffett is top notch with a huge variety of choices. The only downside of the hotel is the distance from the grand pool deck. We were not staying in season but probably could not have taken advantage of it as much as we've liked.

Andaz has given me wonderful service. I extended an extra stay after my business travel and they would leave eye masks, glasses cleaner and cloth, alongside a deep sleep pillow spray in my room to make sure my stay was comfortable. They also left me a personalized handwritten note to encourage me to lift my spirits even though I was working. Super thoughtful. I also requested a cake to celebrate a promotion and they were very accommodating to bring it to the bar downstairs last minute instead of my room. Breakfast and the complimentary cake was super yummy and plentiful. Because there is no casino right downstairs of our hotel, it is also relatively quiet during the day and night. I would highly recommend to stay at Andaz if you are looking for a stay that is luxurious and modern. I would stay there again next time I am in Macau.

This is our first visit to Macau, and we stayed at Andaz for 3 nights. This is a convention centre hotel, with no casino. I recommend this hotel if you’re traveling with kids, and appreciate a more tranquil experience. The staff were top notch, very professional and extremely friendly & helpful (eg. helping with your luggage, elevator, room services, information). This is a sleek modern hotel, where you can get a large beautiful room for a comparatively great price. The best feature in my opinion is you get to use the Wave Pool & Lazy River in the Galaxy Hotel, where there are lots of other families with kids. However, if you’re looking for the “life of the party”, your taste would be the mainstays on Cotai, such as the Venetian a mere 12 mins walk away.

2nd time staying at Andaz Macau. Stayed there for 2 nights for this latest trip. Encountered few “not so great” events which started with - Delayed in room readiness. Arrived at 3pm but 1 of the 2 booked rooms was not ready. Even though we were promised to have the room’s cardkey delivered to the available room and we will be able to access immediately after we were back to the room. However, it was not available and we had to call and wait for it. - Spoilt toilet door. The first room’s toilet sliding door can be frosted through manual button for privacy purpose. We initially noticed that the door was out of the hinge so we requested for repairs. The repairmen arrived promptly. After investigation, they repaired the sliding hinge but with another issue where the frosting mechanism would need “precise” positioning for it to work and repairing it may need hours. We hope the hotel could work on ensuring the facilities’ conditions before handing the room to their guests. Overall, the place is great with excellent shuttle service around Galaxy compound and the hotel front desk service is excellent. Hope to see improvements on my next trip!

Families stay away from Andaz hotel

Families beware. We booked this hotel solely based on Hotels.ca description of the hotel as “family friendly” with outdoor free water park assess and lazy river. Photos describing pool are showing lazy river as it’s right there in Andaz hotel. First photo. What a scam. Fraud stars. That outdoor water park is located outside hotel. Have to take 20-30 min shuttle bus to Galaxy hotel. Kids are devastated as it’s all raining days with Business Convention right at the hotel. Crowds spilling everywhere. Chaos and frustration… Very small room. With two kids there is no space to put and open luggages. They try to keep it clean. But annoying small details as cleaning ladies tend to sort your staff, pack in small envelopes everywhere. We all been in this position: who needs all crayons sorted? Waste of cleaning time. They have free lounge on 6 th floor but limited drink chooses, nuts and cookies.. Come on. Needless to say we complained to Hotels.com but somehow it’s not their deal. Somehow they have to get approval from Andaz manager to issue some refund. You know the outcome… No one cared. Shame on you Hotels.com supporting this misinformation on your web site and have no responsibility.
