I booked the cheapest option, which was good. The room is spacious enough for one person, but it might be a bit cramp for two people. There are some windows, but as there is another building next to the hotel so you will not get a lot of light except in the bathroom which is also the only place the window opens to the outside. As for the service, I think it was fine but could be better. Firstly, on Expedia it states the languages that are spoken are English and Spanish. In the couple of nights that I stayed there, one person of staff spoke English perfectly. For me the problem is not that people do speak English, but the managing of expectations. If my expectation is to articulate myself in English, it’s a let down not to get to. Secondly, during my stay there was some construction going on. Which of course is annoying, and when asking about it I was told that it wasn’t in the hotel and it will only be for a couple of hours every day. It was from about 12 pm until 5/6 pm. There not really anything staff can do about that, but some communication and compassion are missing. Thirdly, the view of my room at one side was of the lounge. In that lounge loungemusic would play from 6 am until 23 pm, which was loud enough for me to hear. Maybe other people don’t have an issue with it, so I just left it as is. But just to let other people know. Lastly, the breakfast was okay, but I would say it could be a little more variation. The orange juice was the best if had in my life.
